Favoritism any member of the campus police force who shows favoritism i.e. letting a friend into an event free or passing in line ; may be subject to an indefinite suspension from the force at the discretion of the campus police chief and or deputy chief. e ; work partner cp's are not to directly work in partners or groups with their personal partner. it is your responsibility to inform the chief, deputy or senior in the event you are scheduled to work with your personal partner. at large events, the two of you may be scheduled to both work the same event, but you will not be working directly together. the chief and or deputy reserves the right to reschedule, reassign or change shifts if they feel this situation may prove to be problematic. any occurrences of this manner that are brought to the chief's and or deputy's attention are subject to punishment up to and including one week. repeat offenses or problems associated with working with your personal partner may result in further punishment up to the discretion of the chief and or deputy campus police chief. this may be punished with a suspension to both members of the cp force. f ; equipment you are accountable and responsible for any lost or stolen equipment during your shift. it is your responsibility to return any keys, equipment or clothing back to the office in proper working condition. please inform the senior in charge of any defective or malfunctioning equipment. any reports of stolen material will result in immediate suspension by the chief and or deputy chief. g ; shirts cp shirts are always to be clean and presentable when working. they are loaned only to be worn while on duty or to and or from a shift. you are not to appear at any social functions or venues with this shirt on while off duty. the shirts are not to be lent or given to anyone who is not a cp. violation of this policy will be handled at the discretion of the chief and or deputy. when your position as a campus police officer has finished, the shirt is to be returned to the cp office. h ; meetings general as campus police officers, you are expected to work regular shifts, at least once per week. all meetings are important and attendance is required. attendance will be taken and if a campus police officer misses three meetings without notification they may be suspended or released. a database of e-mail addresses and phone numbers will be collected and provided to each of the campus police officers at the inaugural meeting. at anytime when a shift is to be dropped or traded, the campus police officer must not mass email the force. this phone individual email list can be used to drop trade any shift. mass emails will result in a warning from chief and or deputy and repeat offenses will result in disciplinary measures up the discretion of the chief and or deputy. weekly senior meetings will begin at least one half hour before the regular cp meeting. a brief discussion about weekly events can be discussed, however the main purpose of the meeting is to fill all senior related shifts. at least once a month the meeting should be one 1 ; hour so that any issues can be addressed and resolved. if issues do arise that a senior feels should be addressed quickly, he she should bring said issues to the chief and or deputy prior to the meeting. the chief and or deputy chief can then decide to bring the issue to the rest of the senior campus police. seniors are subject to the same rules as the regular campus police meetings and must attend at all times. if any meeting is missed, the senior must inform the chief and or deputy via formal email. violations of this may result in suspension up to the discretion of the chief and or deputy. seniors are not allowed to take shifts and purposely give them to regular cps. seniors that do this will be warned, followed by a possible suspension after a meeting with the chief and or deputy.
